What do you remember about coming to the U.S.?
(asked to my Great Aunt Sylvia)
I remember my mother waking me up at the crack of dawn and dragging me onto the boats deck to see the Statue Of Liberty.
In the olden day's, like 1300's, did any of our ancestors get to be king or queens?
(asked to my mother)
Yes, You are related to the Duke and Duchies of Lithuania but it was way after the 1300's more like the 1900's.
How hard was it to come to America and who was the first to come here?
(My Grandpa)
It was hard because I had 11 other siblings who didn't come over and we knew we wouldn't see them again for a while.
How do you think where I live now affects my personality?
(My dad)
It nice that you live close to all of my relatives and its great that you are able to talk to all of them and I think it makes you more convenient.
How has migrating to the U.S. affected your traditions and lifestyle over the years?
(My great Aunt Audrey)
We try to keep our traditions they same as when we where in Lithuania but over the years we have allowed new more American foods into our Traditional meals. Like for a Cristmas meal we now have a corse of how fish into our meal instead of all cold fish
