Personal identity is your actions, beliefs, & things (such as activities) that make you happy or that you enjoy. When I think of personal identity I think of how people treat each other, what they put most of their effort into, what interests them, & how they react to different situations.
This is a picture from last year's xc team. Running has been a part of my life ever since I started running the mile at school. I always wanted to be good at it, even though I'm only about an average runner. I loved it ever since about 4th grade. It relives my stress while keeping me in shape. Plus I've made some really good friends through running. It's taught me to keep pushing yourself even when you feel like you're about to throw up and your legs burn. Running has taught me to never give up.
I believe that eating healthy is very important. It keeps me feeling good and it gives me more energy in the long run. It makes me feel better than eating processed unhealthy foods.
I fully believe in standing up for what you believe in and speaking up. I am a very opinionated person and I like to stand up for what I think is right.
I love my friends and family very much and I appreciate everything they do for me. They've taught me things that are very important and made me who I am today.
I believe that hard work means a lot more than just having talent. Talent helps,a LOT, but it doesn’t means that someone else can’t become better. I honestly don’t have any talents, I just fell in love with some sports and decided to wanted to be good at them, and I’m still not all that good. That doesn’t mean I’m not gonna stop trying. Same with school. I was not a very good at reading or really anything back in 1st grade. I knew I had to work at it and practice and now I’m an above average reader. Now I’m trying to be an above average runner, but I know it’ll only happen with hard work.
